Conference Interpreting and language coaching in Italian, English and Spanish

Cross borders and communicate with your audiences with spoken and written translations that sound just right

I can help you with:

Spoken translation

Let me guess. You have…

a make-or-break event with an international audience you want to impress
an EU project with many different partners
a meeting with a new business prospect who doesn’t speak your language

And you need to get it right. I can translate orally between you and your counterparts so that you don’t have to make any effort finding the right words.

TAKE ME TO INTERPRETING SERVICES

Written translation

We can work together on…

a white paper, a press release, or a product sheet, among others
your website content or your corporate materials
an e-learning course for your international staff

You need a translation that reads like a native text and speaks to the heart of your audience.

Let me take care of that with the most suitable type of translation.

TAKE ME TO TRANSLATION SERVICES

Editing and Proofreading

You put your best effort into writing that report, but you had to rush it. The blog post is fine, but it still doesn’t read fluently enough…

As a language expert, I have a keen eye for errors and wobbly sentences that are not effective in conveying meaning.

Let’s:

rectify unwanted commas and extra spaces
clarify ambiguous sentences
simplify long-winded paragraphs

I will take what you have written and turn it into a text that makes the right impression.

Where I’m based

I live in Cesena, a flourishing town right in the heart of Romagna. It is just 20 kilometres away from the renowned seaside town of Rimini, which you may happen to travel to if you’re visiting one of the many international expos taking place at the Rimini Fiera/IEG exhibition site, such as SIGEP or Ecomondo, or if you’re attending an international congress at the Rimini Palacongressi Convention Centre.

I’m also a short drive away from Bologna, the region’s capital city and my professional domicile, also with its many convention centres, cultural events and trade shows. It is located at the crossroads of the main railway lines taking you to Milan, Florence and Rome in less than an hour.

I’ll be happy to cover your events in the Emilia-Romagna region, which I call home, or travel to where you most need me.

What my clients say

Marco D.G.

Secretary General, European road haulage organisation

We turned to Giacomo to set up the simultaneous interpreting service in Italian, English, Spanish and French for our hybrid Board of Directors' meeting + European round table. I strongly recommend Giacomo and Idiomatica's services: the quality of the translation was excellent. All the staff members, including myself, were extremely satisfied with the result.

Chloë B.,

Multimedia Officer, International Organization for Migrants’ rights

We work with Giacomo a couple of times a year to translate long reports from English to Italian. Our collaboration is always enjoyable and professional. Giacomo is very dedicated and works with great motivation and enthusiasm - and the deadlines are always respected. Thank you for this great collaboration!

Livia L.,

PR Consultant and Communication, International Tech Company

Since 2008, I have worked as a conference interpreter with English and Spanish, the same languages in which Giacomo specialises. When we have worked together on simultaneous interpreting assignments, I have always seen a professional committed to providing an impeccable service, with excellent terminological and linguistic preparation and a great flair for using technological tools to further improve his output.
Now that my career path has shifted to communication for multinational companies in the technology and IT fields, I have found in Giacomo a translator capable of choosing a unique style and tone of voice, maintaining full control over the projects entrusted to him, and managing to work lucidly under stressful conditions while guaranteeing maximum punctuality.

Alessandra V.,

Interpreter and Transltor, PM of a Translation Agency

Giacomo worked in my company initially during his university internship and, given his skills as an interpreter and excellent level of Spanish and English, I was happy to work with him later on several occasions as a professional interpreter. I warmly recommend him.
